Tales of the Backwoods is the debut album from Finnish melodic metallers Blood Region.

The band got some enforcements from Italy as the vocalist Ira Green joined the line-up.

Ira is known from Voice Of Italy -competition and her strong and rough interpretation combined with the Finnish backwoods metallers' instrumental play and song writing creates interesting and distinctive sound.
